Hazleton, PA - The Bognet for Congress campaign is proud to announce the endorsement of Wilkes-Barre Township Mayor Carl Kuren leading into the June 2 Primary. Following the endorsement, Mayor Kuren and Jim Bognet released the following statements:
“I am proud to endorse Jim Bognet for the 8th Congressional District. I know as our congressman Jim will fight for the people of Northeastern Pennsylvania. Jim is the best Republican to get the job done and win this seat back. Jim worked for the Trump administration and will fight for the Trump agenda. That is why on June 2, Jim Bognet will have my vote, and I encourage you to do the same,” Mayor Carl Kuren said.
“I am humbled to have the endorsement of Mayor Carl Kuren. He is a proven leader in his community and a fighter for conservative values. Mayor Kuren’s support for our campaign is a strong sign of the momentum that is building as we head into the GOP Primary on June 2. With the help of strong leaders like Mayor Kuren, we will turn NEPA red again, stand with President Trump, and send Nancy Pelosi’s Lap Dog Matt Cartwright packing in November,” Jim Bognet said.
