The Bognet for Congress campaign is proud to announce a key endorsement from a business leader, farmer, and agriculture advocate.
Keith Eckel, owner of Eckel Farms, is endorsing Jim Bognet to be the Republican nominee in PA-8 and the next Congressman to represent Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Eckel is the former President of the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau and the Lackawanna County Cooperative Extension Association. Eckel formerly served as a Board member and Chairman of Nationwide Mutual Insurance and has won countless awards for his service to the agricultural community in Pennsylvania.
“I endorse Jim Bognet to be the Republican nominee and next Congressman for PA-8. Jim is a rock-solid conservative who has worked for leaders like President Trump and Congressman Lou Barletta, and will fight for the values of Northeastern Pennsylvania,” Keith Eckel said. “I know farmers like me across Pennsylvania will have a staunch ally with Jim Bognet in Congress”
“I am proud to have the endorsement of Keith Eckel. Keith is a respected leader, a strong advocate for the agricultural community in Pennsylvania, and an amazing businessman,” Jim Bognet said. “Keith will help our campaign advocate for farmers across Pennsylvania.”
In just over a month on the campaign trail, Bognet has raised over $150,000 and collected over 2,400 ballot signatures, the most of any Republican candidate. Two weeks ago, Bognet became the first candidate in Pennsylvania’s 8th District to go on the airwaves, debuting the campaign’s first radio ad: Listen Here.
