Representative Democracy needs more debate – not less. Voters should hear every argument and then make up their own minds what they think is right and how they want to be governed.
HAZELTON- Last week, Matt Cartwright let everyone know that he was backing five pieces of legislation to “boost American Production of PPE & medications [and] reduce dependence on China.” Days later he featured one of those pieces of legislation in a desperate attack ad.
What Cartwright didn’t mention is that those bills have been sitting around for months and he did nothing to support them until he needed to tout some “accomplishments” for campaign season.
